Estudos de periódicos no Brasil: casos IEB e NELIC

Este pequeno artigo procura estabelecer um breve histórico dos estudos de periodismo no Brasil, focando o pioneiro trabalho desenvolvido no projeto A pesquisa de periódicos na Literatura Brasileira coordenado por José Aderaldo Castello dentro Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros – IEB – da Universidade de São Paulo. Além de propor um histórico do projeto desenvolvido dentro do IEB, esse pequeno artigo discorre também acerca de outros estudos importantes para a área, como o de Ana Luiza Martins, Tania de Luca, Saúl Sosnowski; além de apresentar o projeto Poéticas Contemporâneas, de estudos de periódicos, desenvolvido no Núcleo de Estudos Literários e Culturais – NELIC – da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
