This article aims to find a way of viewing comic books by borrowing the lenses and the views of Maurice Marleau-Ponty. The object of study is the work of Marcello Quintanilha, more specifically the album Talco de Vidro (Glass Powder - free translation). Through the ideas proposed by Merleau-Ponty, it was tried to understand the cutting mechanisms, a typical interruption in comic books, as a space between a place where the reader´s imagination is activated, and the meanings that may come up. All of that is taken into account having as background the story of Rosangela, the main character of Talco de Vidro, who sees the world in a very particular way.Downloads
