School, education and life management
Abstract
The paper presents a reflection about the question what is the school? It weaves a relationship with the image to reveal the common spaces of a school, in which education is a mechanical repetition of questions and ready answers used to teach content. The textbook has a central role in the interaction between knowledge and teaching practices. But this invites questioning the paradox that frames the school and education, which are configured by the management of life to promote a break in the univocal rationality that only seeks reductionist explanations for both.
