Entre memórias, entre arquivos: por que não falar sobre o exílio?

Abstract

A dupla condição de pesquisadora e testemunha dos acontecimentos que marcaram as ditaduras no Brasil e no Uruguai nas décadas de 1960 e 1970 marcam a escrita deste artigo. A partir de uma perspectiva do presente, faço uma visita ao passado através dos arquivos e das lembranças. Busco, com perguntas que se ancoram no presente e nas problemáticas que se impõem nos acontecimentos recentes, interrogar documentos e trazê-los à vida. Da mesma forma, trato as lembranças, focalizando minhas memórias como exilada no Uruguai.
