A infertilidade feminina na pós-modernidade: entre o narcisismo e a tradição

Este artigo visa a refletir sobre a relação da mulher infértil com seu corpo num mundo em que a técnica oferece diferentes formas de manipulação e “correção” desse corpo. Pretende articular pós-modernidade e infertilidade feminina, buscando elementos elucidativos que possibilitem a compreensão do sofrimento diante da infertilidade no contexto do mundo atual. Nessa articulação, o ponto-chave é a relação entre fertilização, narcisismo e tradição, que suscita a seguinte pergunta: Na pós-modernidadeter um filho é um projeto que reflete um desejo tradicional de ter uma família ou é a expressão concretizada de um desejo narcísico de fruição de prazer individual?
