Análise de Eficência de Produção no Setor de Impressão em uma Indústria de Embalagens Plásticas

Abstract

Investigation about production growth, market competitiveness, and strategies for becoming a better company in comparison to competitors have increased. In box production industries, more specifically on the flexible box sector, it is no different from that, these companies strive to achieve more efficient techniques to better apply their resources. This article´s goal is aligned with this intention, which consists in analyzing production efficiency comparing it to the printing sector goals. The mentioned section utilizes the flexography method in which it is printed, multiple times, and, at high speeds, utilizing one printer, associated to one workday which are divided into shifts to be in favor of the machine’s productivity performance. This way, it can determine the most relevant factors to possible improvements in the processes supported by statistical techniques, ANOVA table and evaluation of data correlations from information collected during a period of one year. It is important to state that the results found no significant difference on waste average values for different machines. In relation to the shifts, it was concluded that there is an expressive difference in relation to the shifts worked, this fact is explained by machinery availability and workers experience.
