Abstract

This paper will be presented a method to help the marketing and logistics of the material handling of the self-adhesive paper. The central problem is to determine the diameter of the paper coil. This problem from to the machinery used by business graphics that have limitations in maximum diameter of the coil paper. There is also another problem related to material handling in these companies, particularly a small one, that using low capacity equipment or even the move manually. The decision support system is based on algebraic model equations that will determine the diameter of a self-adhesive paper coil of according to the procurement, made by linear meter.  This decision support system was tested and deployed in a self-adhesive manufacturing and, the test results, the formulation of model algebraic and spreadsheet are presented in this article.
