Inventory management in small shipyards is challenging due to the wide variety of components, the high degree of vessel customization, and the limited availability of historical data. In this context, this study aimed to develop an inventory management support tool for a shipyard operating under a job shop production system and within an Engineer-to-Order environment. The research was applied in nature, exploratory-descriptive in scope, and conducted through a case study. Data were collected through remote meetings and interviews with company professionals, complemented by the analysis of documents and spreadsheets used in the production process. Based on the diagnosis and information from the Work Breakdown Structure, a Bill of Materials (BOM) was developed, including the standardization of material descriptions and units of measurement. An ABC classification and a Google Sheets dashboard were also developed to record material movements, monitor inventory levels, and support purchasing decisions. The preliminary assessment conducted with the company indicated that the solution was aligned with its operational needs. Therefore, the dashboard has the potential to improve information traceability and provide an accessible alternative for small companies.
