Focus and Scope
The mission of IJIE is to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge in the fields of Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, and related areas through the publication of scientific articles.
Preference will be given to original articles and expanded versions of articles published in international conference proceedings. In the latter case, the importance of disseminating articles published at these conferences is understood.
Articles that solely involve a literature review will not be accepted, except in cases that use a theoretical-conceptual framework representing the state-of-the-art knowledge in the field. In such cases, new models and interpretations must be proposed that are relevant to the areas of Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, and related fields.
