Abstract
In the domestic quail, Coturnix coturnix japonica, the deferent duct showed significant variation in its maximum diameter and in the height of its revesting epithelium throughout the year. However, maximum values of both diameter and height of the revesting epithelium were observed during March and April, respectively. The lowest diameter of deferent duct occurred in November, but the variation of revesting epithelium in October and February did not have any significant differences. However, for the cranial, medial and caudal portions of the duct, no significant differences for the studied parameters were observed.Downloads
