Abstract
The biology of Didelphis marsupialis (Marsupialia, Mammalia) was observed at Ratones Grande Island. The study area is located in the State of Santa Catarina, souther Brazil. Predominant vegetarion is typical of Atlantic Forest. Surveys were done from April, 1995 through March, 1996. A total of 50 individuals were captured 87 times, in live traps and manually, and tatooed on the caudal base. Morphometric and reproductive aspects were recorded.Downloads
