Abstract
The occurrence of the bivalves Pinna cornea Gmelin 1971,Limaria inflata Lamarck, 1819 and Chlamys muscosus ( Wood, 1828), and the gastrópods Acteocina bullata (Kiener, 1834), Aplysia Juliana Quoy and Gaimard, 1823, Bursa corrugata ponderosa (Reeve, 1844), Cylichna verrilli Dall, 1889, Cyphoma signatum Pilsbry e McGinty, 1939, Dondice occidentalis (Engel,1923), Erosaria (= Cypraea) accicularis (Gmelin, 1791), Hipponix grayanus Menke, 1853, Lamellaria perspícua mopsicolor E. Marcus, 1956, Phyllonotus pomum oculatus (Reeve, 1845), Pleurobranchus areolatus Morch, 1863, Simnialena (=Simnia) uniplicata (Sowerby, 1848) and Trachypollia turricula (Von Maltzan, 1884) is registered for the first time and the occurence of the gastropod Olivella puelcha (Duclos, 1840) and the bivalve Codakia orbicularis (Linné, 1758) is confirmed for the littoral of Santa catarina State. Brazil. The specimens were collected manually in the intertidal and intralitoral zone, up to 24 metrers deep, during the malacological research performed from January through March of 1999 in the Arvoredo Biological Marine Reserve. The specimens were preserved in ethanol 70% and incorporated to the collection of the “Laboratório de Mexilhões Universidade federal de Santa Catarina ”.
