Abstract
Systems to determine the capture time of small mammals were tested using battery powered analogical watches (with and without calendar) and digital watches, both types being triggered by either micro or reed switches . the complete processes for mounting the systems is described in detail for use in live – traps. The analogical system using a calendar and triggered by micro switches proved to be more practical and more efficient to determine the capture time for small mammals.
