Abstract
Avermectins were introduced in the Veterinary Medicine in the last decade for treatment and prophylaxis of endoparasitosis and ectoparasitosis. This article presents a revision about their application and mechanism of action besides the possible effects of doramectin, the most recent avermectin, in the central nervous system (CNS) of mammals.Downloads
