Abstract
The aim of this paper was to describe the morphological features of the adepididymal efferent ductules (ED) in the black isogenic mouse, between 10 and 60 days of age. It was observed that at 10 days of postnatal age the epithelial lining of the ED showed relative differentiation, comparatively to the same epithelial lining studied in adult micc (orsi et al., 1996). Thus, ciliated (C) cells, at 10 days of age, could be still noticed, and non-ciliated (NC) cells showed subcellular features, that suggested ocurrence of a precocious process of apocrine secretion. Other observations, al light microscope level, were made on ED morphology, between 20 and 60 days, and allowed us to conclude that a precocious process of tubular epithelial differentiation ocurred in this species.Downloads
