Abstract
The present investigation was carried out aiming the leaf blade study of Eugenia umbelliflora. The leaf anatomy, size, shape and herbivory rates were examined. E. umbelliflora is a typical species of vegetation occupying the sandy coastal quaternary plains. The species exhibit hypostomatic leaves with anomostaurocytic stomata, dorsiventral mesophyll and collateral vascular bundles. Secretory cavities commonly occurs in the palisade tissue.Downloads
