The present paper is part of a broad morphological study concerning kidney circulation in domestic animals. The authors analysed some features regarding to the number and distribution of arterial branches of bovine hilar region and the differences among them. Were observed 30 pairs of kidneys excised from adult animals, 15 males and 14 females, slaughtered at Frigorífico Jaboticabal, Jaboticabal Country, SP. The kidneys were kept and fixed in 10% formaldeyde aqueus solution for 48h before the dissection. It were made sketches from the kidneys vascular distribution for further systematizing. The authors described the presence, in the right kidney hilar region of 3 to 12 arterial branches with predominance of 5 and 4 to 11 in the left kidney, with predominance of 9.Downloads
