Abstract
The objective of this trial was to evaluate seven blush winter squash cultivars. Six replications were set out in a randomized block design and each plot was represented by six plants. Plants of hybrids AF-2462 and Atlanta produces 10,6 and 10,4 commercial fruits, respectively, superior to Clarinda and cultivar Caserta (four origins: Agroceres, Agroflora/Sakata, Hortec and SVS/Asgrow). This greater production was due to grater female flower numbers per plant, which were 27,4 and 26,2 for the hybrids Atlanta and AF-2462, respectively, while for the others these numbers varied between 20,3 to 23,5. The four cultivar Caserta origins did not differ in relation to the evaluated characteristics.Downloads
