Abstract

Theories about social organization of social insects - ants, termites and the more organized bees and wasps - are discussed in this article. Based on currently available social behaviour studies, holistic ideas and reductionist approaches are compared.

Possui Graduação em Psicologia pela Universidade de São Paulo, Mestrado em Psicologia (Psicologia Experimental) pela Universidade de São Paulo e doutorado em Psicologia (Psicologia Experimental) pela Universidade de São Paulo. Atualmente é docente - Departamento de Psicologia Social e do Desenvolvimento.
