La salud social y el ostracismo interior / Society’s health and interior ostracism

Resumo

Se aborda el asunto de la salud social, proponiéndose un nuevo marco conceptual. Se discute si las instituciones pueden estar enfermas y qué serían las instituciones sanas, a través de identificar algunas de sus características, análisis que se le aplica al Estado como la primera institución social. La participación en el poder institucional autoriza la autonomía, la creatividad y la sensación de libertad. La festividad identifica este momento.Pero también hay límites para la participación en el Estado-institución. Se discute el reconocimiento del otro o los modos de exclusión del otro (ostracismo exterior o interior). Se define la negatividad como el situar al otro más allá de toda humanidad posible. Se sostiene que ciertas manifestaciones en lo social tiene que ver con un llamado desesperado a ser reconocido, condición de la salud social.

ABSTRACT: The article analyzes social health, proposing a new conceptual framework. It discusses the possibility of institutions being sick and what would constitute sane institutions, through the identification of os some characteristics, applying this analysis to the State as a primal social institution. Participation in the institutional power authorizes autonomy, creativity and the feeling of being free. Festivity identifies this momento.On the other hand, there are limitations for participation in the State-institution. The article discusses the recognition of the other or ways of exclusión of the other (external or internal ostracism). It defines negativiy as situating the other beyond all posible humanization. It sustains that certain manifestations within the social arena has to do with the desperate claim to be recognized, a condition for social health. KEYWORDS: Social health. Ostracism. Discrimination.
