Evaluation researcher’ scientific production: mapping the scientific publications

The growth in scientific production, together with technological evolution, has generated a number of publications that is inconsistent with the traditional search methods and selection of materials to support research. Thus, this study aimed at identifying, through the ProKnow-C tool, articles that were scientifically recognized and aligned to the topic “Evaluation of Scientific Production of Researchers” (available in the international literature), and to conduct bibliometrics with such material. As a result, 15 articles were identified to compose the Bibliographical Portfolio, in which it was observed that the Scientometrics was the journal that appeared the most on the search; An index to quantify an individual’s scientific research output was the most cited article, and van Raan the prominent author.References
