Evidential information in the social balance: the perceptions of managers X the respective literature

The Social Balance originated from the accounting system and represents the evolution of a system projected to elaborate accounting reports concerned with financial and economical issues. Under the pressure of external environment the aforementioned system realized that it needed to provide society with differentiated information. The objective of this article is to present the perceptions of managers towards the Social Balance as a tool of social informational and the information privileged in it. The study is characterized as qualitative and exploratory. The conclusions point out to a convergence of opinion between the managers interviewed and the literature looked up since both parties give priority to information about human resources, value added, environment and social responsibility.Downloads
