Abstract

Comparing the narratives proposals for different artists in equally diverse periods on the Mining Plot, one searched to point out the especificidades of each one, as well as the dialogue that establish. It was privileged workmanship of Peter Americo,the first one to display the cutting of the hero, and was followed, it with the posterior ones. Pedro Americo, Portinari, João Câmara and Joaquim Pedro, to if placing the problem of the relations between colony and metropolis, intellectuals and revolution, hero and people, had answered the specific questions of the respective contexts of production of its workmanships.
