This text is a short review about a recent book published in Uruguay during the last month of 2007. 'La escena bajo vigilancia' from Roger Mirza intended to discuss the mutations ocurred in the uruguayan scenic space while the military organizations were leading highly violent State practices in the country since the beggining of the seventies (1973 - 1985). In this sense, the author sees the theater as an important focus of militancy and social change to be problematized and appreciated by the researcher.Downloads
