Doutoranda do Programa de Pós-Graduação em História pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, bolsista CNPq. Graduada em História e Mestre pela mesma Universidade. Ênfase em pesquisas na área de História Ambiental. Faz parte do Grupo de Pesquisa do CNPq: Laboratório de Imigração, Migração e História Ambiental, UFSC. Atualmente pesquisadora dos seguintes temas: Domesticação de espécies vegetais, Desmatamento, Reflorestamento, Floresta de Araucária.
