Abstract

O lesbianismo vem sendo tratado pela história e pelo discurso social como uma curiosidade ou como um estigma a ser revelado/escondido. Num mundo em que o binário heterossexual é a norma, a ameaça do lesbianismo é

a recusa do contrato sexual instituído pela heteronormatividade. Mas, afinal, o que seria uma identidade lesbiana? Que sentidos se escondem numa categoria que supõe uma homogeneidade grupal baseada em uma sexualidade plural.

Tania Navarro Swain, UNB

Pós-Doutora nas Universidades de Montréal e Québec. Doutora em Sociedades LatinoAmericanas pela Universidade de Paris III, Sorbonne. Foi Professora do Programa de
Pós-Graduação em História da UNB e atua principalmente nas áreas de epistemologia feminista, sexualidade, gênero, história das mulheres, teoria e metodologia da história.
