Foucault, a história e a escrita dos infames

O texto que ora apresentamos é fruto das leituras prazerosas que temos desenvolvido sobre a vida e a obra de Michel Foucault através da literatura acadêmica, especialmente daquela que trata de suas visitas ao Brasil e obras que esse filósofo escreveu sobre a vida dos homens, sobretudo nos livros em que se concentra nas “vidas infames”. Nossa preocupação é investigar relações entre como Foucault viveu sua história, o que escreveu sobre História, como problematizou, enquanto pesquisador, histórias de vidas muito particulares, que resultaram em algumas de suas publicações. Para essas questões tentamos elaborar algumas respostas, provisórias, encadeadas na forma desse texto, largo em suas ambições e bastante limitado em suas realizações e, por isso, se constituindo como um primeiro esforço, portanto de fôlego curto, no sentido de pensar as relações a que se propõe.
