This article proposes a reflection about the limits and meetings between history and literary fiction in the narrative of the German occupation of France, during World War II, in the french novelist’s works, Patrick Modiano. Concurrently, discusses the ambiguous position of French society, particularly in Paris, or by tolerating and eventually collaborate with the invaders, sometimes for resisting foreign presence.References
