Ismael Nery: um jeito de ser brasileiro

Abstract

This article is meant to explore the plastic-poetic work of the brazilian artist Ismael Nery (1900-1934) the representations that indicate a certain understading and absortion of what he captures, reproduces and sends out between his pairs as being the elements of a diversified nature that marked him or that stood out regarding the ways of lives in existance within the national territory, understanding that this allows to report his way of being brazilian. It will start from the environments where he lived and it will be concluded with the idea of a brazilian artist as a sum up of the world.
