Abstract

This article intend to reflect about the inauguration of a hotel occured in 1930 in Canasvieiras' beach (in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina). This hotel is taken as the most important base mark for the public incentive to coastal tourism in the Island of Santa Catarina.
