Abstract

The emigration to Germany of german descendants who live an hybrid identity in the Catarinense West in the focus of this article. The experiences lived deeply by then are investigated from interviews collected in locality called Itapiranga. It is made a context about the city analyzed and it is showed the types of emigration and the mediators. The reception in a different country, the return to the original land and periods of training are told in this article about agricultural young men of Itaporanga.
