"A revista de tropas do exército católico": os Congressos Católicos realizados pelos Jesuítas alemães no sul do Brasil
Abstract
The aim ofthe text is analyzes the Catholic Congress carried out by the German Jesuits by the immigrants in south Brazil, in the period from 1898 until 1940. The Jesuits did by emigrated to Brazil since mid XIX Century. In their baggage, they brought the knowledge of activities experimented in Europe, which they were advancing by the immigrants, resulting in a set of institutions toward to the economic and social sphere. In this setthe congress has joined believers from various communities to debate their problems. The Congress can also be conceived as normative mechanisms, by means of which the Jesuits to carry conceptions about life in society.Downloads
