In Memorium. Uma reflexão sobre as ressignificações do Miramar
Abstract
the construction of a monument in Fernando Machado square inaugurated in July 2001, besides the Florianópolis bus station, will be the object of this article. the construction named Memorial to Miramar reminds in its desing, an old bar and wharf previosly located in the same square. thus, that moment is taken to study the resignifications of that space in the Florianópolis urban and cultural scenery, a spacesubmitted to deep interventions from 1970 decade.
