A educação e a Criança da Vila Operária
Abstract
The ambience questioned is the Vila Operária Prospera, located in the city of Criciuma, around the fifties decade. The children that lived in this place and time were sons and daugheters of the Carbonifera Prospera S.A mine workers. Their education was given to the catechists, to the teachers paid by the mining industry and also to the nuns of Divina Providência. The children’s schooling happened in a moment that the industrialists wanted to a discipline the workers behavior in the private and daly life domain. To accomplish that they use religious and educational authority.
