Abstract
The article aims to perceive how Qswaldo R. Cabral, in his work “Nossa Senhora do Desterro” represented the men that occuped the public offices im Desterro in the second half of the nineteen century. Due the lenght of the we’ll concentrate in the military figures. From the gender relations perspective, we’ll try to demonstrate other possibilities to approach the men’s role on history. We’ll also start from the principle that identity and gender are historic constructions.Downloads
