Blumenau nas enchentes de 1983 e 1984 e o imaginário da “cidade do trabalho”
Abstract
The article focouses the problem of how the current discourse about the “german laboriousness” appropriates the catastrophic phenomenon of the 1983 and 1984’ inundation, to show the “capacity of reconstruction” and “laboriousness” of the inhabitants of the city of Blumenau (“blumenauenses”). This discourse identifies the “blumenauenses” as heir of the German settlers pioneering of the last century, who found the city.Downloads
