Corpo, população e moralidade na história da medicina
Abstract
Tomando como punto de partida los trabajos de Roy Porter y de Michel Foucaut pretendemos analizar, a partir de algunos pocos ejemplos históricos, esa mecánica de saber y de intervención sobre la vida de los individuos y las poblaciones llamada de bio-poder. La anátomo-política del cuerpo será analizada a partir del nascimiento de la clínica y del hospital medicalizado; la bio-política de las poblaciones será analizada a partir del passaje de la higiene clássica a las explicaciones proprias de la microbiología, así como a partir del desplazamiento de la preocupación com las epidemias cosmopolitas hacia uma obsesión por las enfermedades tropicales em el período de 1890 hasta 1914.Downloads
