Biografia do Autor

Danielle Heberle Viegas, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München

Doutora (2016) e Mestra (2011) em História pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. No decorrer do ano de 2015, foi doutoranda convidada no Lateinamerika-Institut (LAI), vinculado a Freie Universität Berlin, por meio do Programa CAPES/PROBRAL. Pesquisadora e professora no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Memória Social e Bens Culturais (PPGMSBC) e no Mestrado em Avaliação de Impactos Ambientais (PPGAIA) da Universidade La Salle/UNILASALLE. Professora do Cursos de História (Bacharelado e Licenciatura) e Arquitetura e Urbanismo (Bacharelado) na mesma instituição. Pesquisadora do Observatório das Metrópoles (Núcleo Porto Alegre), membro da AHILA (Asociación de Historiadores Latinoamericanistas Europeos) e colaboradora da rede UEDXX (Urbanism of European Dictatorship during the XXth). Presidenta do Conselho de Turismo da cidade de Canoas (COMTUR) e representante substituta da Unilasalle no Conselho Municipal de Patrimônio Cultural. Co-editora da Revista Mouseion. Áreas de interesse e atuação: memória social, patrimônio cultural, história urbana e ambiental, estudos sobre planejamento urbano, território, identidades e (i)migrações no século XX. Atualmente, desenvolve projeto com auxílio do CNPq "Planejando o terceiro mundo?: transnacionalidade e circulação de ideias em experiências de planejamento urbano no Sul do Brasil".

Dr-sc.Freigeist-Fellow of the Volkswagen-Foundation in the School of History at LMU Munich. At LMU, he is the principal investigator of the research group “Radical Utopian Communities” and a member of the Munich Centre for  Global History and the Young Center of LMU's Center for Advanced Studies.
