This article dialogues with the ideas developed in the article: El neofascismo en Brasil, de lo local a lo global? by Odilon Caldera Neto. From this work, three interconnected aspects are emphasized: the contributions to approaching Brazilian neo-fascism as an object of study, its transnational links, and the reflections on the intellectual practice around the construction of concepts and categories. The text itself constitutes a contribution to rethinking the particularities -from history, traditions and experiences- of a phenomenon that, at the same time, is both current and global.
