Visibility, Inclusion, RacialityAbstract
This text adds comments to the discussions of concepts such as inclusion, visibility and raciality developed by the historian Maria da Glória Oliveira in her paper. Briefly, I point out the merits of Oliveira's undertaking and also give my opinion on the current state of Brazilian historiography, its receptivity to authors “outside the canon”, its exclusionary practices and initiatives that, in some way, propose other paths.
