Presente e passado em comemorações de aniversários de municípios
Abstract
The article aims at showing the celebrations of city anniversaries as moments of cultural and temporal hybridism and as locals of construction. dispute and silencemente of memories. the main object of this analysis are the emancipation parties that took place in 1984 and in 2002 in São Miguel do Oeste, extreme west of Santa Catarina. In these parties, the past of colonizers and pioneers was made present and valued allowing them to occupy central places among the authorities.
