The text analyzes and criticizes, from a feminist and decolonial perspective, the proposal for biotechnoscientific interventions in love. The defense of so-called “love drugs” appeals to the ethical desirability of helping victims of domestic violence. However, the underlying assumptions of moral neutrality of technologies and rationality as the essence of human nature mask the intersectionalities of race, class and gender that modulate the concreteness of domestic violence. More than that, the naturalization/biologization of differences between the sexes and human affections is used to justify the control of women's affections and behaviors. The confrontation, therefore, is not against affective chaos or violence, as defenders of such interventions argue, but against the imminent possibility of other forms of social organization, non-hierarchical, non-exploitative and respectful of desires and the constitution identity of all its members.
