In this paper I lay down a philosophical problem, I examine and criticise some possible attempts to solve it and I argue for what I believe to be its best solution. This is a philosophical problem in moral philosophy or ethics, as the title already makes it clear. Therefore this is not an exegetical paper about Wittgenstein's philosophy. However, I think it is in debt with Wittgenstein's late philosophy for two main reasons: the philosophical problem laid down here is understood as a grammatical confusion involving the use of some moral terms. Besides, the solution argued for here is reached through the analysis of the ordinary use of these terms. (cf. WITTGENSTEIN, §§109-111)
