Avaliação e caracterização de aberrações cromossômicas no laboratório de citogenética do Hospital Universitário-UFSC
Abstract
Neste trabalho, apresentamos os resultados do estudo citogenético para diagnóstico, realizado no Laboratório de Citogenética do Hospital Universitário-UFSC. Foram encaminhados para o estudo 63 pacientes, obtendo-se crescimento da cultura em 54, dos quais 12 (22,22%) apresentaram cariótipo anômalo. Foram detectadas alterações numéricas, estruturais e mosaicismo cromossômico. Esta avaliação contribuiu para o diagnóstico clínico, e orientação dos familiares, demonstrando a importância do estudo citogenético, num hospital-escola, pois além do caráter assistencial possibilita a formação profissional dos alunos participantes.Downloads
