Programa de Educação e Prevenção em Saúde Bucal: GAPA -Lar Recanto do Carinho
Abstract
Setenta crianças e adolescentes de zero a 16 anos de idade, residentes no Lar Recanto do Carinho, participaram do programa de prevenção que incluiu atividades didáticas e lúdicas, escovação supervisionada e aplicação tópica de flúor semanal. Crianças de 0 a 3 anos de idade apresentaram 0,88 dente cariado; os primeiros molares permanentes foram mantidos hígidos, com um índice de 0,18 dente cariado por criança, satisfazendo as metas da OMS para o ano 2010 (ceo-d e o CPO-D inferiores a 1,0 na idade de um a 12 anos de idade).Downloads
