Educação ambiental na escola pública: um relato de experiência

O presente trabalho apresenta um projeto de Educação Ambiental realizado pela Sala Verde UFSC, no período de maio a dezembro de 2009, na Escola Básica Municipal Vitor Miguel de Souza, em Florianópolis, com crianças da quarta série do ensino fundamental. Ao longo do projeto, o educando foi incentivado a descobrir sua relação com o local em que vive e estuda e a ampliar seu relacionamento com o meio ambiente, tornando-se apto a atuar junto à comunidade. Com o fim de alcançarmos os objetivos propostos, realizamos com a turma atividades pedagógicas de observação, identificação, comparação e representação do espaço vivenciado pelos educandos. Verificou-se, no final do projeto, que os educandos encontravam-se sensibilizados sobre os problemas ambientais da região da Escola e motivados a atuarem na comunidade em prol do meio ambiente, propondo soluções e apresentando-as.Downloads
