Envolvimento comunitário e universitário na restauração da diversidade biológica

O objetivo deste artigo é relatar a experiência de atuações comunitária e universitária integradas no projeto de extensão "Manejo de Pinus sp. no Parque Municipal das Dunas da Lagoa da Conceição, Florianópolis, SC", ao longo dos seus cinco anos de existência. Foram realizadas um número total de 60 saídas com voluntários de 2009 a 2014, com a participação de um número estimado de 800 discentes e moradores do entorno do Parque envolvidos. Até o presente momento foram eliminadas cerca de 100.00 pínus invasores no Parque. A eliminação de pínus invasores representa uma iniciativa para restauração dos ecossistemas do Parque.
