Educação continuada a clientes diabéticos do hospital universitário da UFSC
Abstract
O diabetes mellitus é uma síndrome de etiologia múltipla, decorrente da falta de insulina e/ou da incapacidade da insulina exercer adequadamente seus efeitos. O objetivo do trabalho foi o de integrar pessoas ao tratamento dietético. Foram atendidos 325 pacientes no ano de 2004, sendo que a maioria destes eram do tipo 2, estavam acima do peso ideal, não seguiam dieta, eram sedentários e apresentavam complicações. Isto demonstra, a importância da educação nutricional contínua para melhorar ou manter o estado nutricional.Downloads
