This article aims to present an experience report regarding the extension project entitled " Clube do Livro Virtual", developed by the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), in partnership with the Núcleo de Estudos da Terceira Idade (NETI). The aim of this virtual book club was to create a space for socializing through literature, in addition to promoting the qualification of the participants in the use of the necessary technologies, such as live platforms and tools to download and read books in PDF format. To this end, weekly meetings were held, based on the previous reading of representative works of World Literature, divided into linguistic modules, namely, French, Portuguese, English and Spanish literature.
