The inventive listening of teachers in pandemic: who is this subject that educates?

This article reflects on the meanings that Basic Education teachers express about virtual teaching during the pandemic of COVID-19. Structurally, the text presents an experience report of an extension activity of psychology students in the virtual format carried out with educators from a public school in the northeastern interior, in June 2020, the result of which mobilizes the discussion on how the virtualization of teaching has accentuated the precariousness of teaching work and negatively affected teachers' mental health. As a response to such scenario, we propose the rescue of the condition of subject of educators, calling ourselves to an experience of invention and collective listening at the interface of school psychology and psychoanalysis; an articulation that unveils the critical and political position of teachers in school processes. Finally, we emphasize the possibility of sustaining the educational practices through collectivity, aiming at the emancipation of the subjects, both in schools and in public universities.
